  1. Can you provide a brief overview of your current role, and the main responsibilities associated with it?

I serve as the Facility Manager for the U.S., overseeing operations in both Colorado Springs and Indianapolis. My role is dual-faceted, as I also support TekExperts with their facilities in these locations.

2. What does a typical day look like for you in your current position?

A typical day involves conducting property inspections, meeting with tenants, and managing various ongoing projects.

3. What aspects of your job do you find most rewarding and fulfilling?

I find it incredibly rewarding to assist tenants and solve problems, often resolving issues before bringing in external vendors.

4. Are there any skills or areas of expertise that you feel are particularly crucial for success in your current role?

Strong interpersonal skills when working with people, customer service, conflict management, and a deep hand-on understanding of facility operations are all essential for success in my role.

5. What did you aspire to be when you were a child?

As a child, I wanted to become a police officer or investigator, a dream I fulfilled before retiring from that career.

6. Did you ever envision, during your youth, that you would eventually find yourself working in the real estate/hospitality sector?

I’ve always had an interest in construction and real estate. Over the years, I worked in facility maintenance with a management company, which provided the training and experience for my current role at Everty.

I enjoy outdoor cooking, particularly grilling and smoking different cuts of meat, along with biking and target shooting. My biggest passion is helping people in need.

8. What is the best place you have ever been to?

Monument Valley National Park in Arizona is the most memorable place I’ve visited. It served as the backdrop for many western movies, and seeing it in person was incredibly impressive.

9. What do you consider to be the happiest moment in your life?

The happiest moments of my life were when my children were born. They are now in their 20s and both pursuing careers they’re passionate about.

10. Is there anything pending on your bucket list that you would like to do in your lifetime?

I’d love to go salmon fishing in Alaska.
